If one were to mention Gospel music in Westchester County, New York, or anyhwere else in the gospel community. It is certain that the name Mark Q. Murray would be mentioned in the same breath. This would be for many and varied reasons; being that he is a noted musician, instructor, producer, visionary, and leader in the music industry. He finds pleasure in blessing & serving as a role model for many musicians and creatives. He has trained several musicians, technicians, leaders, and choirs throughout the United States.

Mark Q. Murray has been actively involved in Gospel Music for the past 50 years. He has dedicated his life to the Gospel Music Ministry and music business.

He began formal training in piano in 1968, and has studied piano and theory at the Manhattan School of Music, New York, NY Ferbraio Music School, and the Trinity College of London. Mark also received training and certification in audio recording at the Trod Nossel Technical School in New London, Connecticut.

Mark Q. Murray has conducted gospel music workshops nationally and internationally, and is an accomplished, musician, producer, songwriter, director, piano instructor, and vocal coach for some of gospel, and urban community’s most prestigious artist.

Being the visionary that he is, Mark is the President of MQM Enterprises, LLC, MQM Records, which recorded the last recording of the late Rev. Timothy Wrights, MQM Center (music instruction in piano & vocals) publisher of Strictly Gospel Magazine. He founded and directed the Westchester Interdenominational Fellowship Choir of Westchester County New York, founded the Montreal Mass Choir, Montreal Canada.
